SPECIAL SHUTTLE BUSES FOR THE BIATHLON WORLD CUP FROM 10 TO 13 DECEMBER

Booking required

NEW! Simple, convenient and environmentally responsible! Your 'STADIUM ACCESS + TRANSPORT' package = one single purchase! Buy your package online!

In partnership with the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region, the Ecomobilité Savoie Mont-Blanc agency, SNCF TER, Proxim iTi and the Organising Committee, we are offering you a simple, convenient and environmentally responsible solution to get you right to the gates of the biathlon stadium.

To ensure you can plan your trip to the World Cup as smoothly and stress-free as possible, don’t delay – buy your World Cup ticket and your return ticket for the special World Cup shuttle buses departing from Annecy, Thônes, Saint-Pierre-en-Faucigny and Glières-Val-de-Borne at the same time. Booking is required to use the shuttle service. Seats are limited.

– Guaranteed connections with TER and Léman Express trains at Annecy and Saint-Pierre-en-Faucigny stations.
– Park-and-ride facilities available in Thônes and Glières-Val-de-Borne.

In addition to the substantial financial contributions from the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region and the Organising Committee to provide this service – which has been expanded and improved with each edition – users are asked to pay a nominal transport fee of €3 (return journey).

The benefits of the scheme

  • Easy access to the stadium gates;
  • No need to worry about finding a parking space. The car park capacity is insufficient to accommodate all spectators arriving in their own vehicles;
  • A scheme based on collective responsibility;
  • A reasonable contribution;
  • A cost-effective solution: in 2026, the mileage allowance rate ranges from 0.529€ to 0.697€ depending on the vehicle’s tax rating (for journeys of up to 5,000 km). A 20 per cent surcharge applies to electric vehicles.
    Cost for a return journey from Thônes for a 5cv combustion-engine vehicle = 24 km × 0.636 = 15.30€.

Practical information

  • Booking is required to use the shuttle service. Limited number of places;
  • Price valid for a return journey;
  • Booking a transport ticket is subject to the purchase of a ‘Stadium Access’ ticket;
  • A maximum of one transport ticket per ‘Stadium Access’ ticket purchased;
  • You must book a return journey with specific time slots;
  • For 4-day Passes, you may book one return journey per day or one outward journey on one day and a return journey on another;
  • You will receive a single ticket covering both stadium access and transport;
  • Arrival at Annecy and St Pierre en Faucigny stations by train or bus is strongly recommended (no dedicated car parks);
  • Due to high visitor numbers, we strongly recommend that you allow plenty of time for your journey, particularly when travelling to park-and-ride facilities;
  • The shuttle buses do not make any stops along their route;
  • Shuttle buses arrive at and depart from the same stop in Le Grand-Bornand (depending on your point of departure).

The competition programme is subject to change by the IBU (International Biathlon Federation).

Free for children under 5 (born in 2022 and after) in the piste area only BUT ticket mandatory.

Group offer from 15 people aged 12 and over (born in 2014 and before) for the same day in the course area only.
Offer valid only for groups from the same legal entity on presentation of proof (excluding travel agencies, tour operators and other retailers). Single payment in the name of the entity. Order form only, please contact us. All requests must be approved by the Organising Committee.

  • Non-numbered standing places in the grandstand and course area.
  • In the event of a sold-out event, no waiting list will be set up by the organiser.
  • Parents must be able to prove their child’s age at access control.
  • Although not recommended for young children, access to the stands is tolerated if the child is carried in a sling. In this case, children under 3 (born in 2024 or later) will be admitted free of charge, but only one seat may be occupied by the parent and child.
  • There will be no free access zones; access to the stadium and course area will be subject to a charge.
  • No mixed tickets (grandstand + course area). Tickets in the grandstand area do not give access to the course area and tickets in the course area do not give access to the grandstand.

Tickets cannot be refunded, even in the event of loss or theft, nor can they be taken back or exchanged, except in the event of partial or total cancellation of the event (excluding postponements) by the Organiser.

In the event of total cancellation of the event, i.e. if all the competition days on the programme are cancelled, the price of the tickets will be refunded, with a service charge equivalent to 4% of the total amount of the order (shopping cart made up of one or more tickets).

In the event of partial cancellation of the event, i.e. cancellation of one, two or three days of competitions on the programme:

– either the price of the tickets for the days concerned purchased individually will be refunded without any deduction of service charges.

– or the price of the tickets for the days of competition concerned included in a 4-day Pass will be refunded, without any service charge being deducted, on the basis of the value of the price of the single ticket less 5% corresponding to the commercial discount granted as part of the 4-day Pass.

In the event of cancellation of one competition out of two scheduled on the same day, the tickets for the day in question will be refunded at 50% of the value of the ticket for the day (value of the ticket purchased individually or value of the ticket included in a 4-day Pass) without any service charge being withheld.

An area for people with reduced mobility (PRM) is provided at the edge of the course and around the stadium. Spaces in the people with reduced mobility (PRM) zone are charged at the same rate as spaces in the track zone.

The number of places in the PRM zone is limited. For all requests, please fill in the form provided for this purpose. Requests will be processed in order of arrival, the date of receipt of this form being taken as proof. The number of accompanying persons is limited to 1 per PRM.
