SPECIAL SHUTTLE BUSES
BIATHLON WORLD CUP FROM 10 TO 13 DECEMBER 2026

New! Simple, convenient and environmentally responsible!
Your STADIUM ACCESS + TRANSPORT package = one single purchase!
Buy your package online!

In partnership with the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region, the Ecomobilité Savoie Mont-Blanc agency, SNCF TER, Proxim iTi and the Organising Committee, we are offering you a simple, convenient and environmentally responsible solution to get you right to the gates of the biathlon stadium.

To ensure you can plan your trip to the World Cup as smoothly and stress-free as possible, don’t delay – buy your World Cup ticket and your return ticket for the special World Cup shuttle buses departing from Annecy, Thônes, Saint-Pierre-en-Faucigny and Glières-Val-de-Borne at the same time. Booking is required to use the shuttle service. Seats are limited.

– Guaranteed connections with TER and Léman Express trains at Annecy and Saint-Pierre-en-Faucigny stations.
– Park-and-ride facilities available in Thônes and Glières-Val-de-Borne.

In addition to the substantial financial contributions from the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region and the Organising Committee to provide this service, which has been expanded and improved with each edition, users are asked to pay a nominal transport fee of 3€ (return journey).

The benefits of the scheme

– Easy access to the stadium gates;
– No need to worry about finding a parking space. The car park capacity is insufficient to accommodate all spectators arriving in their own vehicles.
– A scheme based on collective responsibility.;
– A reasonable contribution;
– A cost-effective solution: in 2026, the mileage allowance rate ranges from 0.529€ to 0.697€ depending on the vehicle’s tax rating (for journeys of up to 5,000 km). A 20 per cent surcharge applies to electric vehicles.
Cost for a return journey from Thônes for a 5cv combustion-engine vehicle = 24 km × 0.636 = 15.30€.

Practical information

– Price valid for a return journey;
– Booking a transport ticket is subject to the purchase of a ‘Stadium Access’ ticket;
– Maximum of 1 transport ticket per event ticket purchased;
– Booking of a return journey linked to specific time slots is compulsory;
– For 4-day Passes, you may book 1 return journey per day or 1 outward journey on one day and a return journey on another;
– You will receive only one ticket that includes stadium admission and transportation;
– Booking is required to use the shuttle service. Seats are limited.

Useful tips

Car parks

  • Free park-and-ride facilities for the day in Thônes or Glières-Val-de-Borne.
  • In Le Grand-Bornand, parking is very limited and restricted exclusively to the road along the Bouchet valley, starting from the Clos du Pin campsite, for the day. At the end of the events, departure from Le Grand-Bornand will only be possible after spectators who arrived by public transport have been evacuated. Snow chains are compulsory.

If you are staying in the resort, we recommend parking in the car park of your chalet or residence and not using your vehicle during the four days of competition. Depending on your accommodation, you can access the stadium on foot or by ski bus (see section ‘Ski bus in the resort’).

ACCESS BY INTER-STATION SKI BUS

If you are staying in La Clusaz or Saint-Jean-de-Sixt and want to visit Le Grand-Bornand, leave your car at your accommodation (parking is paid or limited in time in town centres) and use the free buses.
Dates and times to be confirmed.
